In addition, generic substitution and utilization control options included in the employer plan matrix allow each client to customize generic substitution requirements. Using these options, DirectCompRx is able to monitor, track and manage generic utilization at the point of fill, and to require pre-authorization when "Dispense as Written" values fall outside the accepted range.
